EVENTS in MAY

  Blessing of the Animals

Saturday, May 3                 9:00 AM

Have you ever thought that your beloved pet needed  little touch of heavenly grace -- perhaps because of age, an irascible personality, or simply because you love your companion because of his/her unconditional love and devotion?

Our pastors blessed the furry, feathered or scaley pets of about 50 human companions.
Youth group sold pet treats

Humane Society and Heifer Project
were represented

Enjoy pictures from the event

Each year Malaria kills more than ONE MILLION people, including many children in Africa.

Your $10 donation will buy one net and potentially save a child through delivery of the net and education of that family.

Small gifts add up - give what you can.

  STEWARDSHIP OF THE EARTH

At CUMC we focus our attention on Stewardship of the Earth. Help us in this effort in your home and in your life.

Flourescent bulbs will be for sale on April 20.
They are available at many retail stores locally and can be used throughout your home, even in lamps and ceiling light fixtures.  Use Flourescent light bulbs in your home - help reduce the need for more power plants.

We encourage you to bring your ALUMINUM CANS in tied-up plastic bags and put them beside the Newspaper Recycle dumpster on the NorthWest side of the North parking lot.
